She has written about (real-time) participatory archiving as a form of activism and engagement. She focuses her research on digital archives, participatory archives, and promoting diversity, inclusivity, equity, transparency and accessibility in archives, museums and libraries. Although she has photographed her surroundings for years, she took an interest in local history, the remains of historic moments, and our personal connections to Baltimore’s past, present, and future.
